I love freight trains, old crumbling buildings, lonely people in vast landscapes, golden fields and mountains in the distance.

I am inspired by travel, by landscape, by the places that I love and the places I have seen only briefly. I am interested in the uglybeautiful, in dilapidation and decay, post-industrial landscapes that feel laden with feeling and longing.  I often work from snapshots I have taken, documenting my life and the people in it and our subculture (queer, punk, traveling).

I grew up in New Jersey, and have spent significant time in North Carolina, Western Mass, Oakland, CA, and Stockholm, Sweden. I currently live and work in the north Sacramento Valley of s0-called California.

I have shown my art in galleries, cafes, barns and museums.
